May?? where is this year going?

Here is a layout that I actually did in under 4 hrs!


Holy Cow this year is flying by. Since I last posted I have turned 40 and had knee surgery. I have been able to or felt like scrapbooking in months. Hope my mojo is back and is spring coming anytime soon? I really can't stand when we have hot days then back to freezing days.

so I have been kind of busy looking at other persons blogs. I would love to know how they get to spend so much time on them??? I would also like to know how to add neat and cool backgrounds. Some are so AWESOME! I need to post pics of some of the things I worked on this week. Maybe this Sunday, I do not plan on going anywhere. We have 3 birthday parties between friday and Saturday afternoon, then Saturday night is Drew's cub scout pack awards. Kids are out of school Monday, Andy is out of town. Yeah, I don't plan on going anywhere Sunday. Unless it is really nice I might try to get out for some fresh WARM air!!! Thanks for stopping by

Starting this week better

Well, even though there is still a TON of ice on our driveway, the kids are getting back to the normal routine of going to school! Trying to work on getting my scrap room cleaned and organzied so that I can get some scrapbooking done. I will post some pics from the ice storm. Lizzy turned 6 last week and Drew turns 10 next Monday. WOW time is going by super fast. Someone make the it slow down a little, I want to enjoy their youth more.

January 2011 almost over??

WOW, I finally remember how to post on here. I can't believe it has been months. Of course the last couple of not be very good. Lizzy was sick with the flu in December. So sick that they put her in the hospital for 24hr to get fluids back into her. Then come back from vacation on Jan. 2. Everyone healthy and doing great. She comes home from school on the 5th not well. Two days of high fevers and back to doctors. They said just a sinus infection, well not really. Two more days of high fevers and we are back in the doctors office on Monday. This time it was a UTI. Now here we are on Jan. 27th and she came home from school not feeling great and has a low grade temp. Is winter over yet? On top of it, I feel Monday trying to get her ready for the bus and injuried my left knee. What a month.
Birthdays are coming up. Lizzy turns 6 on Monday the 31st and Drew will be 10 in two weeks! Wow, 10. What will I do with 2 children in double digets???
Hope everyone is well and I am off to make some dinner. I will try to post some pictures soon. Maybe later tonight after kids go to bed.
